Lorry fire sparks Newcastle Road lane closure
ONE lane of a busy Nantwich road was closed for an hour following a lorry fire this morning, January 29.
Two fire engines from Crewe and one from Nantwich attended the incident in Newcastle Road at 5.36am.
An LED exterior light on the lorry was on fire, and crews removed the faulty light fitting from the vehicle.
