A FIVE-VEHICLE crash on the M6 southbound is causing delays this morning.
The incident, involving three lorries, a van and a car, earlier caused a full closure of the carriageway between junctions 17 and 16 at Sandbach and Crewe.
Delays built up back past junction 18 for Middlewich and Holmes Chapel.
The road was reopened to traffic shortly before 7am, with just one lane currently running.
A casualty is being checked over, and recovery vehicles are at the scene along with emergency services and traffic officers.
