A fire was reported near the Queens Park golf course (Google Maps)
POLICE are investigating an arson attack on dumped rubbish in Queens Park Gardens.
Emergency services were called at around 10.50pm on Friday, May 18 following reports of a small bonfire near the Queens Park golf course.
Firefighters used one hose reel jet to extinguish the flames.
After an investigation it is believed the fire was started deliberately.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Cheshire Police on 101 quoting IML68144.
