THE UK'S fifth official Bring Your Dog to Work Day takes place this Friday.
Businesses are encouraged to welcome employees' four-legged friends into the work place for one day, aiming to raise money for charity.
Founded by and organised by ethical dog grooming product company, HOWND, the event aims to raise money for rescue charity All Dogs Matter.
Official site Bringyourdogtoworkday.co.uk adds: “Many scientific studies have concluded that the presence of pets can substantially reduce a person’s stress level in the workplace.
"Increased job satisfaction, team co-operation and morale have all been reported in employees that spend the workday with their pets.”
