FORMER snooker world champion Cliff Thorburn will be on cue at Parr Conservative Club as he performs a free exhibition.
The Canadian, who hit the first maximum 147 break at the Crucible, will be at the Broad Oak Road club on Saturday, October 6.
Cliff, who won the world title in 1980, is the latest big name to appear at the venue following the likes of six-time world champion Steve Davis and Masters champion Mark Allen.
The event is free entry and starts at 7.30pm. There will be a buffet provided.
