A FAMILY from Hartford has taken the plunge in learning to swim with Puddle Ducks Mid Cheshire.
The four Smith children – Mary, 13, Anna, 11, Leah, nine and Noah, seven – have all taken weekly lessons with the swim school after mum Sarah and dad Mike signed them up.
Puddle Ducks provide innovative swimming classes for babies, toddlers and children up to 10 years old, of all abilities.
Sarah said: “I feel swimming is an important life skill that all children should have. I want to give my children the best chance should they fall into a body of water.
"Swimming is also an enjoyable leisure activity and great for fitness.
“The past 13 years as a customer of Puddle Ducks has been extremely enjoyable.
"I am so thankful to Puddle Ducks for teaching my children how to swim independently and so beautifully, in such a safe, but fun environment.”
Rachel Bateson, owner of Puddle Ducks Mid Cheshire, added: “Mary, Anna, Leah and Noah have been a big part of Puddle Ducks and we are so proud of them all.
"The whole team has loved watching their swimming journey, from our baby class, Floaties, to our final programme, Swim Academy.
“We are always proud to see our swimmers progress and move on once they reach 10 years old. It’s great to see the three eldest have carried on swimming after their time at Puddle Ducks, by joining the Northwich Centurions swimming club.
"It is so lovely to be part of the development of local children and to teach them such a wonderful skills.”
