A CHESHIRE-BASED body transformation coach has made his TV debut helping people transform their homes by ‘ditching the dirt and clearing the clutter’.

Adam Murphy – who has previously lived in Northwich and owned a business in Winsford – is one of the presenters of new E4 show Dirty House Rescue: Queens of Clean.

The show’s description reads: “Dynamite organiser and professional cleaners help us ditch the dirt and clear the clutter, as they share their tips, tricks and hacks for a gleamingly good life.”

Adam, who lives in Crewe, is a newcomer to the small screen and was surprised when he received an email asking if he would like to audition to be a presenter on a TV show.

“The show is about helping people to change their households and lifestyles and they brought me on to help with people’s mindsets,” Adam explained.

“I’m a body transformation coach and I used to own a gym in Winsford.

“Throughout Covid, we took the business online and I think that’s how the TV company first found out about me.”

The audition took place online and just two months later filming started, which was a whole new experience for Adam who had never been on TV before.

He added: “Because I run my own business, being directed by someone else was quite different to what I’m used to.”

The first episode of the series aired on Thursday at 10.15pm and has been met with positive feedback.

The second episode will be shown this Thursday.

Adam said: “I was watching through my hands; it was really nerve wracking seeing myself on TV.

“My family and friends all loved it – I think they enjoyed watching it more than I did!”
