TOM Pope could make a surprise return to help Crewe's cause at Yeovil tomorrow.
A toe injury threatened to end the 22-year-old's season three weeks aog.
But Pope trained yesterday and could play through the pain barrier to aid Alex's plight.
Having him in as the targetman assisted an upturn in fortunes at the start of last month.
"We'll see how he is," said boss Steve Holland.
