MEET the three Labour candidates running to represent Middlewich at the Cheshire East Council election next week.

The public will be asked to choose who they want to represent them on the borough council on Thursday, May 4.

Across the borough, 254 candidates are vying for 82 seats, including three in Middlewich.

The council is currently run by a joint Labour and Independent administration after the Conservatives, who had been in control since the council was formed in 2009, lost their majority in 2019.

Carol Bulman, Mike Hunter, and Jonathan Parry are the Labour candidates who are each seeking to be re-elected as a borough councillor.

Carol has represented Middlewich for eight years, including four as a borough councillor.
