AN eco-friendly exhibition focusing on renewable energy will take place at MMU Cheshire’s Crewe campus on Saturday.
The event is open to visitors from 10am-4pm and is organised by the Energy Saving Trust advice centre and Cheshire Renewable Energy Initiative.
It is designed to promote the uptake of solar power, wind turbines, biomass and heat pumps, and is a must for anyone concerned about the carbon footprint and tomorrow’s fuel prices.
The Energy Saving Trust, along with installers and renewable energy specialists, will be giving advice, talks and answering questions on all aspects of saving energy in the home.
Chris Birtles, organiser and outreach officer, said: “We are delighted to be hosting this exciting event.
“It is the first of its kind in Cheshire.
“Renewable energy technologies are developing all the time and the exhibition provides a great opportunity everyone to find out more and what might work for them.”
