GIRLS Aloud will be strutting their stuff at Picnic in the Park in Nantwich next month - and here is a chance to see them for free as winners of the Guardian competition.
We can offer four pairs of tickets to see the stunning songstresses perform at Dorfold Park on August 3.
Each ticket, worth £25, will give the winner and their chosen companion free entry to the picturesque concert venue and a full night of entertainment by Girls Aloud and support act, Simon Webbe of Blue and The Saturdays.
Cheryl, Kimberley, Nadine, Nicola and Sarah first came to the nation's attention in 2002, as the winners of Popstars: The Rivals.
Now Cheryl has hit hit the headlines as the newly-announced female judge on X Factor, replacing Sharon Osbourne.
The girls were the first all-female group to debut at Number One in the UK and the first band ever to get the Christmas Number One with their first single, 'Sound Of The Underground'.
For six years they have dominated the charts with hits such as I Think We're Alone Now, Love Machine and Biology, Jump, Love Machine, Something Kinda Ooh.
The girls hold the record for Most Consecutive Top Ten Entries in the UK by a Female Group, with 18 consecutive hit singles.
Organiser Phillip Martin said: “I have seen the girls perform before and thought ‘what a great act’.
“They have obvious glamour, but have proved themselves to be far from one-hit-wonders with some really catchy songs.”
Mr Martin, who organises the Nantwich Jazz and Blues Festival, hopes to put the town on the map as a world-famous music venue this summer.
On August 1, Welsh opera beauty Katherine Jenkins will be in concert at Dorfold Park.
Pop in the Park will see McFly perform on August 2 and Girls Aloud the following night.
Tickets for Katherine Jenkins start from £29.50, and for McFly and Girls Aloud, from £25.
They are available from Ticketline on 0871 424 4444 or from the Crown Hotel in Nantwich on 01270 625283.
To enter our ticket competition just email your name, address and daytime phone number to crewe@guardiangrp.co.uk or post your entry to Girls Aloud Competition, Crewe and Nantwich Guardians 42, High Street, Crewe, Cheshire CW2 7BN.
