Carnival gig now free

CREWE Carnival's showpiece gig with Jason Donovan this weekend has been made free.

Originally tickets were priced at £9.50 but the decision has been taken to make it free admission.

Co-organisers The M Club released this statement last night.

"The M Club has stepped in together with Crewe and Nantwich Council to fully sponsor the Jason Donovan Gig on 23rd August," it said.

"Yes, admission to see the Soap Hearthrob's fantastic stage show is totally free, zilch, gratis and for nowt."

Any ticket purchasers will be refunded from the outlet where the tickets were bought.

However you will still need a ticket to gain admission. These are available in advance from The M Club, The Lyceum Theatre and Tourist Information Offices.
