Motorcyclist killed in Crewe crash


A MOTORCYCLIST died after his bike collided with a car in Warmington Road on Saturday.

The 44-year-old man from Telford was killed after his Triumph motorbike was in collision with a blue Toyota Yaris at around 2.42pm.

He had been travelling along Broughton Road, towards its junction with Warmingham Road, when he collided with the car which was driving along Warmingham Road towards Crewe.

The driver, a 44-year-old woman from Sandbach, was taken to Leighton Hospital suffering from minor injuries, and was discharged later that day.
