LABOUR’S Parliamentary candidate for Crewe and Nantwich David Williams presented a cheque for £100 to Aldin Francis at a local party meeting last week.

Mr Francis, who is the latest winner of the Labour Party’s ‘bonus ball’ scheme, received his prize at the meeting at the Crewe Arms Hotel.

Peter Kent, the local Labour Party treasurer said: “The bonus ball scheme raises funds for the local party on a regular basis and provides a nice cheque for someone each month.

“Members of the scheme pay £5 a month and I am always pleased to enrol new members.”
