FORMER deputy Prime Minister John Prescott will be opening the Crewe and Nantwich Labour campaign office on Saturday March 13.
Local Labout candidate David Williams will welcome Mr Prescott at 4 Chantry Court on Forge Street in Crewe at 1pm.
Mr Williams said: "John is a very well-known and well-loved figure in the Labour Party and I am very pleased that he has agreed to come along and perform the official opening of our new campaign office.
"Following the opening John will be joining me in Crewe town centre to speak with some of the residents of Crewe and Nantwich.”
