DETECTIVES are appealing for witnesses to come forward following a brutal attack on a man in Crewe.
The assault took place in the doorway of the Premier Bargain Buster store on Edleston Road at 10.45pm on Monday March 1.
The victim suffered a broken jaw.
A Cheshire Police spokesman said two nurses went to the aid of the man at the time and a man in the shop is understood to have witnessed the assault.
They are now appealing for those people to contact them.
A 39-year-old man from Crewe has been arrested and charged with assault.
He appeared before South Cheshire Magistrates on Wednesday March 3.
