A 42-year-old man has been hospitalised after being assaulted at a house in Sandbach.
At around 7pm on Thursday, police were called to an address on Townfields following a report of a disturbance at the address.
A 38-year-old local man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of assault after the victim was found with puncture wounds to his chest.
The victim is being treated at Leighton Hospital where his condition is described as stable and non life threatening.
