SOME 13 men and three women have been charged with drug supplying offences, following the dawn raid in Crewe yesterday (Tuesday).
Fourteen of them are due to appear at a special court in Crewe today.
The two others were charged and given bail.
One other person was released on police bail while further inquiries are carried out.
Two others were cautioned for possession of Class A drugs.
Police officers also seized approximately £10,000 in cash and three cars, which will be the subject of ‘proceeds of crime’ proceedings.
They also recovered heroin and crack cocaine valued at £6,000, which was believed to be heading for the streets of Crewe.
Detective Chief Inspector Darren Hebden said, “This operation was the culmination of months of painstaking detective work and evidence gathering and was very successful.
“It will have a serious impact on the supply of illegal drugs in the Crewe area.”
