A YOUNG Nantwich man is in a 'critical' condition after he was found with head injuries on Friday.
At around 5.15pm Cheshire Police were notified that a 23 year old local man had been found with a head injury on a grassed area, which runs to the rear of Manor Road in Nantwich.
The man was taken by ambulance to Leighton Hospital and then subsequently transferred to North Staffs hospital where his condition is described as critical.
His family have been contacted.
Three local men, aged 36, 22, and 16 years have been arrested in connection with the incident.
There are a number of people in the area at around 4pm who may have seen this incident take place.
