Hip-Hop Band Headlines At The Box

5:34pm Wednesday 25th August 2010

CHESHIRE hip-hop band The C-Dub Soundtrack play a headline show at The Box in Crewe on Friday September 3.

The band first came together a couple of years ago through a mutual love of ‘old skool’ hip-hop.

Since then they've been rocking stages across the Northwest and supporting acts such as Goldie Lookin Chain.

Despite being a hip hop group, the band has an eclectic mix of influences including jazz, funk, punk, drum 'n' bass and ska.

They said: "There's nothing we love more than playing live shows.

"We want people who come to our shows to have as much fun as we do. So, we try to get the crowd involved as much as possible."

Support comes from Crewe band Just Don't Panic, newcomers to the hardcore scene Skeletal Damage and from the highly rated Calling Shotgun.

Doors open at 8pm. Entry is £5.
