SOUTH Cheshire Ramblers are off to North Wales on Sunday October 2 to walk the picturesque Llangollen History Trail.
Walk leader Hazel Wallis said: “The route starts from Llangollen Wharf and goes via the canal tow path to the Horseshoe Falls then past Llantysilio Church and on to the remains of Valle Crucis Abbey.
“The last stretch of the eight mile walk goes steeply up to the spectacular ruins of Dinas Bran Castle.”
Walkers with good levels of fitness should be at Nantwich Lake car park by 8.30am.
Non-members who wish to come along are asked to phone 01270 811186.
