THE special baby care unit at Leighton Hospital has received a £3,340 donation from Asda.
The money was raised through the Asda Price Guarantee (APG) Road Show which was held at the Asda Crewe store, in the Victoria Centre, over the weekend.
More than 2,000 people took part in the game and the savings across the three days were added up, multiplied to come up with the final donation.
Chris Davies, Asda Crewe general store manager, said: “We were absolutely delighted at the success of the Asda Price Guarantee road show and even more so by the fact that we succeeded in raising such a colossal sum of money for the Special baby care unit at Leighton Hospital; a truly worthwhile cause”.
