THE ROTARY Club of Sandbach Crosses leant their support to a group of fundraising Cheshire women, who walked from Holmes Chapel to Christies Hospital in Manchester.
The women, who all have connections to farming, covered the 21.9 miles in less than six hours, as part of their Milk Maids March for Christies’ cancer research institute.
Helped by a £500 donation from the Sandbach club, they have raised £9,600 so far.
