FIREFIGHTERS were called to a road traffic collision on Nantwich Road in Crewe just before 1.30pm today, June 26.
The incident involved two saloon cars.
Crews assisted ambulance staff to remove one casualty from a vehicle who was then transported to hospital.
Paul Binyon, Crewe Station Manager said: "The crew assisted the Ambulance staff to get one casualty out of a vehicle and Cheshire Police closed the road in both directions.
The fire engine left the scene at 1.52pm.
