RESIDENTS are being warned to be on their guard after a bogus caller targeted vulnerable residents in Alsager.
Cheshire East issued a warning that a man claiming to be from the charity ‘Care and Repair’ asked residents for cash up front to do gardening jobs.
Anyone who is contacted in this way, or who sees anything suspicious, is asked to contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
