NANTWICH Food and Drink Festival gets underway this weekend, Friday-Sunday, September 14-16.
The much-loved event is free of charge to anyone who wants to enjoy its mouth-watering array of attractions across the town centre.
More than 30,000 food-lovers enjoyed last year’s festival.
For 2012, organisers promise a vast array of regionally produced gourmet foods, beer and wine tastings, with more than 2,000 products to sample.
Festival chairman, Deborah Robb, said: “Our aim is to make Nantwich a paradise for foodies and bring thousands of people into town over a long weekend when things generally quieten down for tourism.
“Everything will take place in the heart of Nantwich with its streets and the square providing a truly picturesque backdrop.”
Events are being added daily. For the latest visit www.nantwichfoodfestival.co.uk
