Crewe stylist proves to be a cut above the rest

A STYLIST from a Crewe salon beat hundreds of hopefuls to win a place in the hairdressing hall of fame.
Steph Prophett, who works at TPL on Nantwich Road, is through to the UK finals of The Fame Team – an elite group of the country’s top stylists who spend time out from their salons to train others via hair shows and special demonstrations.
Steph will have to perform hair styles on stage before a panel of judges during a forthcoming show in London to which of the stylists makes the final cut.
She said: “Ten years ago I would never dreamed of reaching the point where I would go on stage to cut hair.
“But I have received nothing but encouragement and support from everyone at TPL.
From day one I have known they are right behind me.”
