Sign petition to help families with disabled children

A CHARITY is appealing to Nantwich residents to get behind a campaign designed to help families with disabled children.

Scope launches a campaign in October called ‘Keep Us Close’ to pressure the government into making changes so that families with disabled children will no longer have to fight for services or travel long distances to get to them.

Jo Cox, shop manager of the Pillory Street store, said: “Many families have to fight long and complicated battles just to find an appropriate school or therapy for their disabled children and often the support can only be found far away from their home.

“We’re asking the residents of Nantwich to come into the Scope shop up until October 21 and sign our petition cards to help families with disabled children get the support they need.”
