MP Fiona Bruce is calling on local people to apply for two unique awards within the UK National Honours system to reward community groups who are involved in volunteering.
These two awards are The Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service and The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Volunteering Award 2012.
Nomination deadlines for these awards are fast approaching!
Fiona said: “There are so many good community organisations within my constituency, and a huge number of selfless individuals giving their time to help others, so I am calling on local people to nominate a group for these awards to ensure that appropriate appreciation can be extended.”
