IT seems to me that business executives only have to do the job for which they receive an ample salary in order to receive an exhorbant bonus. So, I am an average pensioner approaching my 80's making few demands upon the community, paying my taxes and generally behaving myself. I receive a State Pension (which in their generosity, the Government has effectively reduced by changing from the RPI to the CPI), so please can any of your readers tell me when I can expect to receive my bonus?

WITH reference to the yes/nmo vote for a Crewe Town Council; the non-partisan views expressed in this letter are mine as a resident of Crewe town and as a councillor who has been asked questions, by residents I represent, about the financial implications with regard to a town council.

In reference to the article that appeared in the December 1 edition, page 7, you publicised an ‘anti traveller’ hog roast and carol singing party. I believe that in this day and age this sort of prejudice against an ethnic minority group is disgusting.
