POWER-punk four-piece Attack! Attack! will be tearing up The Box in Crewe on Friday July 3.
Formed at the beginning of last year in a rundown industrial estate on the outskirts of Cardiff, Attack! Attack! have already begun to make a huge impact on an unsuspecting UK scene.
NME said: “The entire history of British post-hardcore has been building towards Attack! Attack!”
Having cut their teeth in various South Wales based bands, including Dopamine, Adequate Seven, Midasuno and Pete’s Sake, the quartet that makes up the A!A! are no strangers to hard work, having released a plethora of CD’s between them and toured a handful of countries in the process.
Since the release of their self-titled debut album in November, the hard working band have already sold over 4,000 copies and counting, in addition to a successful supporting trek alongside Funeral For A Friend.
With an appearance at last years Reading Festival already under their belts and great support from the heavyweights of rock press and the DJ’s at BBC Radio 1, there’s no doubting the initial blow of Attack! Attack!
Talking of their latest release Neil Starr explains: “You And Me is about not seeing eye to eye with somebody.
“At first you don’t realize the issue and you think it’s something else like ignorance, but eventually you see that it’s just not going to work because you have different thoughts, ambitions and dreams.
“Burning Down and No One Gets Out Of Here Alive is a pretty brutal way of saying to the person in question, that you’ll do whatever it takes to achieve your goal.”
Already a live favourite with the band’s ever expanding fanbase, You And Me perfectly showcases the band’s upbeat, melodic and exciting live energy.
The band toured Europe with Forever The Sickest Kids early February before embarking on their biggest UK headline tour to date with Tonight Is Goodbye in tow.
Attack! Attack! are Neil Starr and Ryan Day on vocals and guitars, Will Davies on bass and Mike Griffiths on drums.
They are supported by Crewe band Sgt Wolfbanger, Chester's The Day Before Mortality and Hi Alert! from Sandbach.
Doors are from 8pm. Entry is £7.
