Crewe Flyers swimmers bring home handful of medals from Cheshire Championships

BEN Cleaveley was the star of the show for Crewe Flyers in the Cheshire County Championships at Macclesfield.

Of the 20 swimmers competing for the club, Cleaveley returned as the most decorated, winning one gold, two silvers, including an impressive second in the 100m breaststroke open final.

His three medals made up half of the total of six that the club returned to Crewe with, as Eleanor Bloor and Grace Farr also claimed gold medals, with Grace adding a further bronze.

Head coach Farouk Graba said: “It has been another excellent weekend for our swimmers, with many personal bests and some great performances.”
