Darts league prizes are dished out

END of season prize winners have been announced in the Crewe Open Darts League.

The award for the season's top finish from the Premier Division to Division Three Three goes to Pete Boughey (Pioneers A) for the highest possible 170 checkout.

The least number of darts prizes go to Mark Jodrill and Craig Sharples (Commercial), Tony Richardson and John Speed (Pioneers A), Clive Lucking (Earl of Chester), Carl Dennel (Cosey Club) and Rob Paine (Prince of Wales E), all of whom hit 12-dart legs.

For Divisions Four to Six, the highest checkout prize goes to Lee Woolley (Brunel Arms A), for a 147 finish and the least darts prize to Gareth Wood (Kings Arms B) who hit a 15-dart leg.

The new summer season starts tonight.
