MEDALS and speeding tickets were collected by an inexperienced group of Cheshire Flyers swimmers at the Cheshire Junior Meet in Macclesfield.
Georgian Prestwich collected a medal of each colour, while Stuart Coutts won a gold and silver in a gala designed for 12 year olds and under.
Medal winners: Gold: Prestwich, 100m individual medley; Coutts, 50m backstroke; Lilli Ann Cummings, 50m backstroke; Rachel Bradshaw, 50m backstroke.
Silver: Prestwich 50m backstroke; Coutts 50m breaststroke.
Bronze: Georgia Prestwich, 50m fly.
Speeding tickets were awarded to Prestwich in 50m freestyle, 50m backstroke and 200m individual medley; Cummings in 50m freestyle and Bradshaw in 50m fly.
Excellent performances were also recorded by Crewe’s younger swimmers - Freya Ramsay, Hollie Richardson, Lucy Shufflebotham, Rebecca Stacchini, Jessyka Walker, Emma Wells, Ben Woolley and Jake Brassington.
