KINGS Arms A remain comfortably clear of chasing Nantwich Road A in Crewe Open League’s Premier Division Dominoes.

Kings smashed Commercial for six to keep the breathing space between themselves and Nantwich, who hammered bottom club Imperial 7-1.

West End Band C hammered lowly White Lion B 7-1 to move up three places to third, but remain four points off the pace.

Division One toppers Express drew at Broughton Arms, who consequently move up to third.

Main rivals White Lion A are now just one point behind, their 5-3 defeat of Nantwich Road ASLEF demoting the losers a place to fourth on matches won.

Division Two pacemakers Pioneers Club B lost 5-3 to Bridge C, so Woodside’s draw at Cheshire Cheese puts them just one point behind and three ahead of the Cheese, Nomads and Shoe.

Division Three’s top four met, so when top two Coppenhall Leighton and Liberal Club drew it allowed Brunel C to move a little closer after their 5-3 defeat of third-placed Vine C.

Division Four’s top two clashed, with White Lion’s 6-2 victory moving them within two points of leaders Coach and Horses.

Raven’s 6-2 defeat of Dishers Club lifted them two places to third.

Division Five leaders Brunel Arms B were beaten 5-3 by Nags Head, allowing Duke of Bridgewater B to close in after their 6-2 win at Last Orders.
