CREWE Alexandra clinched a point at Coventry City on Saturday but remain second from bottom in League One.
On-loan Arsenal youngster Chuks Aneke’s leveller salvaged a draw after Frank Moussa and Callum Wilson strikes had cancelled out Tom Hitchcock’s opener.
Hitchcock broke the deadlock after 14 minutes, collecting Aneke’s pass to slot past the on-rushing City stopper.
Coventry drew level from a corner on 36 minutes, Moussa reacting first in the six-yard box to guide the ball into the net.
Wilson kept his composure, despite having to return the ball to the spot several times in the wind, to give Coventry a lead on 56 minutes.
However, QPR loanee Hitchcock turned provider 10 minutes later when he squared for strike partner Aneke to slot home his second in successive games and fourth of the season.
The Railwaymen went close to finding a winner, but Brad Inman was denied by a last-ditch tackle.
