TRAVELLING Dabbers fan were gifted an early Christmas present as the visitors demolished Grantham Town on Saturday.

Danny Johnson’s outfit took the lead through Steve Foster, before Ben Deegan doubled Nantwich’s advantage with his 12th of the season.

Foster grabbed his second and the Dabbers’ third on 39 minutes before Osebi Adabaki’s first goal for the club eased the visitors into a four-goal half time lead.

The hosts showed a little resolve after the interval, but were unable to stop Nantwich adding a fifth with 20 minutes remaining.

Harry Clayton fired home from the penalty spot as Gingerbreads’ defender Anton Foster was given his marching orders.

The victory sees Nantwich jump to 15th in the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League, they host Stafford Rangers on Boxing Day and Frickley Athletic the following Saturday, both at the Weaver Stadium.
