NANTWICH Town's Evo-Stik Premier Division match-up at Witton Albion on New Year's Day was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
In one of many Evo-Stik matches disrupted by heavy rain, Dabbers and Witton were forced to abandon attempts to remove standing water after it became clear that the Wincham Park pitch would be unplayable.
It is the second match Nantwich have had postponed over the festive period, as the visit of Frickley Athletic on Saturday, December 28 was also delayed due to adverse conditions.
Dabbers will now prepare for the visit of Droylsden to the Weaver Stadium on Saturday, kick off 3pm.
