NANTWICH Town forward Steve Foster bagged his fifth goal in five games to salvage the Dabbers a point at Stamford on Saturday.

The in-form striker scored Nantwich’s second in a 2-2 draw after Aaron Burns had earlier netted from the penalty spot, keeping the visitors 12th in the Evo-Stik Premier Division.

Former Chorley marksman Foster has scored in each of the Dabbers’ last five games, taking his tally to 10 for the season since his arrival from Witton Albion in October.

Burns leads the club’s goalscoring charts with 18 this season, while Ben Deegan has netted 14 times.

The Dabbers host promotion-chasing Rushall Olympic at the Weaver Stadium on Saturday.
