Clive Lucking (Earl) and Cliff Davison (ASLEF) fired 14-dart legs, Kevin Penny (Duke A) added a 17 darter and Neil Tudor (Hop Pole A) an 18 darter that included a 180 and was ended with a 142 kill.

Division Two’s top pair Cheshire Cheese and Sydney Arms both gained 5-3 wins over Rising Sun A and Amalgamated B to remain joint top with identical records.

Pioneers Club B’s 6-2 defeat of Bridge A lifted them two places to third, but they remain way off the pace.

Steve Hughes (Woodside) ended his 18-dart leg with a 113 checkout, while 19 darters were hit by Rob Paine (Sydney), Dan Downey (Pioneers B), Craig Smith (Cheese) and Steve Blount (Bridge C).
