Nantwich Town 3
Rushall Olympic 2
NANTWICH Town came from behind on Tuesday night to extend their unbeaten run in the Premier Division to six matches.
The Dabbers climb into the table’s top half as a reward ahead of this Saturday’s trip to free-scoring Worksop Town.
They trailed when former Crewe front man Dele Adebola was first to a loose ball.
Danny Johnson’s men drew level two minutes before the break when Ben Deegan slipped a pass into Aaron Burns’ path.
The striker’s shot was blocked by Pics custodian Chris Gemmell, but Mark Jones pounced to convert.
They edged ahead after an hour, this time Burns applying the finishing touch to swell his season goal tally to 19 after the visitors made a mess of clearing Andy Keogh’s corner.
Max Harrop scored direct from a corner, the wind assisting his kick, to make it 3-1 to render substitute Stan Mugisha’s late goal for Rushall a consolation.
