CREWE Flyers’ successful season continued as they soared to a 58-medal haul at Fenton Manor Pool in Stoke-on-Trent.

Flyers took 12 gold, 20 silver and 26 bronze medals at the annual City of Stoke meeting to finish as the competition’s top club and collect a second trophy in a month following their Crusader Division Two win.

Ben Hindbest led the way for the boys’ team with six gold medals, one silver and two bronze, while Ben Buckley scooped two gold, four silver medal finishes and three bronze.

Emma Duff enjoyed an excellent weekend for the girls’ team with five silver medals and two bronze, while Zak Fielding’s two silver and five bronze added to the boys’ total.

Bradley Hindbest collected three silver and one bronze, Stuart Eastwood took three bronze and Ryan Rimmer scooped gold and bronze medals.

The girls’ medal haul was completed by Issy Pountain, one gold, two bronze, Bryony Crank, two silver, one bronze, Georgia Farr, gold, silver and bronze, Grace Farr, two silver, one bronze, Nadia Barr, one gold, one bronze, and Bethany Moore, one bronze.

Other impressive performances came from Stuart Coutts, Joe Stather, Jack Wilne, Ben Woolley, Rachel Bradshaw, Kate Brassington, Lili Ann Cummings, Grace Gillard, Freya Ramsay, Lucy Shufflebotham, Francesca Timmis and Georgia Prestwich.
