PREMIER Division Dominoes leaders Cosey Club were beaten 6-2 by Commercial, whose win moves them off the bottom.

Kings A won 5-2 at Nantwich Rd ASLEF to draw level on points with the Cosey, but are second on the matches won parameter, while third placed Delamere’s 6-2 defeat by LMR B drops them three points off the pace.

Division One pacemakers Nantwich Rd A overturned a 3-0 deficit to scramble a draw at Brunel A, but as main rivals White Lion also drew the position remains static.

Third placed Pioneers B beat Broughton 6-2 to stay in contention in a section where eight points cover the top eight teams.

Division Two has new leaders in Horse Shoe, despite only drawing with Woodside. Deposed leaders Express performed even worse, being soundly beaten 7-1 at Bridge A, who move up two places to third and ahead of Hawk on matches won.

George Walley staved of an embarrassing whitewash in another very close section where the top five teams are covered by as many points.

Division Three sees Liberal Club regaining top spot on matches won after recovering from 3-1 down to win 5-3 at Coppenhall Club.

Second placed Kings B drew with Swan & Chequers and are now facing a challenge from Willaston Club who move up three places to third after beating Vine B 6-2.

Another extremely close section sees six points embracing the top seven teams.

Division Four matches all ended 5-3, with four of the top five teams finishing on the winning side, the main positional change being Brunel C who drop two places to fourth after losing at Prince A.

The top five teams are covered by just three points, Division Five has Dishers A moving to top spot after beating Foresters B 5-3, with their bye week demoting Hop Pole B to third, also being overtaken by Prince D who squandered a 3-1 lead in their draw at Coach & Horses.
