Division One pacemakers Nantwich Road A beat main challengers White Lion A 5-3 to double their points lead to four, but the Lion have a match in hand. Third placed Pioneers Club B lost 5-3 at lowly Amalgamated A in a section where the top eight are covered by as many points.

Division Two sees Express regaining the lead in style with a 7-1 drubbing of bottom placed hosts Sydney Arms, for whom Adam Perkiss staved off the whitewash.

Deposed leaders Horse Shoe drop to second after losing 5-3 by third placed visitors Bridge A, now only two points adrift of them, heading five teams covered by just three points. Amals B let slip a 4-1 lead in their draw at the Imp.

Division Three remains as close as ever after returning three draws and two 5-3 wins.

Liberal are second, one point behind the leaders after hosts Captain Webb won both pairs games to force a draw. Nantwich Road B head five teams covered by three points after a draw at Flying Lady B.

Division Four pacemakers Dishers Club B hit hosts Duke C for six and are two points ahead of Rising Sun B, who beat Duke B 5-3.

Four points cover the top quartet after third and fourth placed White Lion and Brunel C drew their clash.

Division Five leaders Dishers Club A demoted Prince of Wales D to third after beating them 5-3, with Hop Pole B’s draw with bottom placed Foresters Arms B lifting them to second spot.
