NANTWICH could not stop Toft returning to top spot in the ECB Cheshire County Premier League with a 51 runs home loss.
Lancashire Academy batsman James Drummond contributed a quality 104 in a Toft opening strand worth 99 with Jake Hancock (41).
Nantwich then fought back as the visiting side subsided to 203 all out against keen bowling from Ollie Griffiths 5-40 and Abi Raut 5-90.
The Dabbers batsmen had a difficult day mustering only 152 against Jimmy Lomas, 5-38, and Matt Cornes, 3-37.
At Appleton, visitors Wistaston beat the home side by 60 runs in the Cheshire Cricket Alliance top flight.
Wistaston won the toss, batted and made 172 – 9. In reply, Appleton were bowled out for 112 with T Lomas 52. For Wistaston, J Hogben took 5-14.
In Division Three, their seconds beat visitors Trafford Metrovick seconds by six wickets.
Trafford Metrovick batted first and were bowled out for 99 with C Trahair taking 6-11. In reply, Wistaston won the game scoring 101-4 with J Allwood unbeaten on 46*.
