FORTUNE prevailed for Crewe Oddies Club Open League Premier Division Darts pacemakers West End LMR B.

Their 7-1 win at bottom placed hosts Brunel Arms A takes them 11 points clear of Pioneers Club A, who, like all the remaining eight teams, were involved in drawn matches.

Not so fortunate were Nantwich Road ASLEF and Kings Arms A, who both let slip 4-1 advantages against Eight Farmer and Holly Bush.

Division One's leading four teams clashed, with pacemakers Horse Shoe moving seven points clear after inflicting a first defeat on second placed Hop Pole A.

Division Two pacemakers Willaston Club beat Hawk 6-2 with Jamie Clorley, Lee Moffat and Dave Owen firing a 17 dart leg, a 107 checkout and a 180 respectively.

Main rivals Amalgamated B walloped visitors Rising Sun A 7-1, helped by an 18 darter by Rich Sharp and a 180 from Gary Jones, to move further ahead of Sydney Arms, who won the last three games to snatch a 5-3 victory at Bridge C.

Other maximum men were Simon Felton (Nantwich Road B) and Rob Paine (Sydney). Division 3 Darts leaders Brunel Arms B had their huge points lead trimmed slightly despite beating hosts Cheshire Cheese 6-2.

Kings Arms B delivered a whitewash to neighbours Rising Sun B, and are now firmly established in second place. Katrina Butters win staved off a whitewash for bottom placed Flying Lady B at Coppenhall Club. Tom Knibbs (Cheese) included a 180 in his 18 dart leg, Mike Dawson (White Lion) and Mick Cope (Swan & Chequers) hit 19 darters, Ron Beech (Brunel B) a 104 finish and Chris Gibson (Vine B) a 180.

Division Four's yoyo lead reverted to Duke of Bridgewater B after their 7-1 hammering of bottom placed Foresters Arms B, for whom John Bolton and Dave Rockall prevented the whitewash with a last gasp pairs win.

Deposed leaders Brunel Arms C forfeited a 3-0 lead in their draw at British Lion, but remain well clear of Nags Head A despite the latter’s whitewash of Coach & Horses.

Premier Division Dominoes top two Kings Arms A and Cosey Club drew with Holly Bush and Pioneers Club A, allowing West End LMR B to move level on points with the Cosey after a 6-2 win at Brunel Arms A, but the LMR have played one match more.

Division One sees Nantwich Road A taking sole charge of top spot after overturning a 2-0 deficit to beat Flying Lady A 6-2.

White Lion are second after beating Pioneers B 5-3 and Horse Shoe remain well in contention after a 5-3 win at Hop Pole A.

Division Two toppers Woodside doubled their points lead to four with a 6-2 defeat of Nantwich Road B, aided by the drawn clash of main rivals Hawk and Willaston Club.

Division Three toppers White Lion beat Swan & Chequers 5-3 to increase their points lead to seven, with the Swan moving up to second ahead of Vine B, beaten 6-2 by Nags Head B, who return to fourth place, one point behind the Vine.

Division Four leaders Dishers Club B beat Hop Pole B 5-3, their lead trimmed to two points by Brunel Arms C who won 6-2 at British Lion.

Coach and Horses consolidate third spot after a 5-3 win at Nags Head A, now two points back but still in fourth place.
