A CREWE teenager has led her dressage team to the National Championships .
Ellie Foster and the Cheshire Chicks will compete at the nationals in Berkshire in November.
The 18-year-old will be joined by 17-year-old Penny Ehlen, from Northwich, Audlem’s 14-year-old Izzy Maughan and 15-year-old Stoke on Trent-based Alex-Jo Parsons.
The girls met at Nantwich Riding Club and the British Young Riders Dressage Scheme.
The Cheshire Chicks recently competed in the British Dressage Team Quest North West Regional Championships.
The girls rode against 14 other teams in the open section and placed second on the day to secure their place at the National Championships in November.
They have competed in several Team Quest dressage competitions throughout the summer and ahead of their qualification for Saturday’s Regional Championships, that took place at Warren Farm Equestrian Centre in Formby.
Foster and her teammates will be hoping to go one better than last year’s achievements when they visit Berkshire.
Then, in 2014, the team competed at the Team Quest National Championships and came home with bronze medals.
