NANTWICH Town were knocked out of the FA Cup in the first qualifying round at Spalding United on Saturday.
Josh Moreman’s goal was enough for the hosts.
Coach Danny Griggs said: “We are all very disappointed.
“We had defended very well today as well as creating a few chances, but we got nothing and gave a soft goal away.
“We will put it right next Saturday against Grantham Town. So we will take the annoyance of this loss into that game.
“It’s got to be a win, we don’t do two losses on the bounce. All the other times we have lost we have responded with a win or a draw. We’ll be going all out for a win on Saturday.”
Dabbers hope to get back to winning ways on Saturday when they welcome Grantham Town to the Weaver Stadium in the league.
