WEEK two's matches in the Crewe Oddies Club Open League returned some amazing statistics in the domino sections.

Only three teams have managed to maintain 100% records. Darts statistics are not much better with just 12 of the 47 teams still maintaining maximum win records.

Premier Division Darts has Pioneers Club A and West End LMR B to the fore after again topping the scoring lists with respective 8-0 and 6-2 victories over promoted Hop Pole A and Vine A.

Cosey Club and Eight Farmers A make up a quartet of teams with perfect records with double points totals after 5-3 defeats of promoted Horse Shoe and The Oddies.

LMR B again topped the big hitters list with Daniel Ayres bombing 12 and 17 darters, a ton checkout and a 180, closely followed by Patrick Lynskey who fired 14 and 18 dart legs, a 110 kill and a 180.

Dave Bickerton added support with a 16 darter and a 180.

Eight Farmers pair Clive Lucking and Stewart Bennett chucked respective 17 and 18 darters and Kings A sole singles winner Andy Pitt also hit an 18 darter.

Dave Coyne (Oddies), Bobby Baynham (Cosey) and Pete Boughey (Pioneers A) hit respective 108, 115 and 157 finishes and other maximum men were Jim Hamlett (Farmers A) and Jordan Bradley (Cosey).

Division 1 Darts has promoted pair Willaston Club and Amalgamated B leading the way with 100% records after beating respective visitors Amalgamated A and Broughton Arms 7-1 and 5-3.

Cheshire Cheese also hit seven at hosts Nantwich Road A to claim third place, level points with ‘Mals B but with only one win.

Willaston topped the big hitters list with Rob Paine winning in 16 and 19 darts and Lee Moffat hitting a 16 darter and a 180, the pair then teaming up for a 33 dart pairs victory at 30+ PDA.

Skipper Paul Blythe also joined in with a 19 darter. Paul Jones (‘Mals B) hit a 17 dart leg, Darren Cooper (Crown) blasted a 104 checkout and a 180, Broughton’s Dan Smith registered a maximum 180 and Barry Cooper (Cheese) high scored with a 177.

Division 2 Darts pacemakers are promoted Brunel Arms B, who also hold the sole unblemished record after beating Woodside 6-2.

One point behind them are Hawk and Rising Sun A after being held to home draws by Bridge A and promoted Kings Arms B.

Dave Arrowsmith (Hawk) hit a 17 darter and Brunel B pair Steve O’Neill and Lyndon Cartwright a 19 darter and a 180 respectively.

Division 3 Darts toppers with maximum wins are Swan & Chequers and Cheshire Cheese, separated by two points after 6-2 wins at Flying Lady B and White Lion, with promoted Duke of Bridgewater B and Nags Head B joint third.

Swan’s James Scott included a 180 in his 16 darter, team mate James Pace hit a 20 darter and Richard Stockton (Cheese) hit a 105 checkout.

Division 4 Darts 100% pacemakers Nags Head B won 5-3 at Coach & Horses to open up a five points lead over Bridge D and Hop Pole B after their clash went 5-3 in favour of Bridge D.

Coach duo Jim Taylor and Graham Baldwin hit respective 120 and 118 checkouts, but both were bettered by Sean Morrey (Nag A) who fired a 138 shot out.

Premier Division Dominoes all square trend continued with a further three added to last week’s quartet of draws, so just four points cover all 10 teams, all of whom have recorded at least one draw.

No 100% records remain, so Cosey Clubs 6-2 win and Pioneer Club A’s draw at promoted duo Horse Shoe and Hop Pole A means they share top spot.

Division 1 Dominoes is also dominated with draws and their ten teams emulate the top sections by being covered by four points.

Again no 100% records so Nantwich Road A’s 6-2 defeat of Cheshire Cheese puts them one point clear of Broughton Arms, Amalgamated A and Pioneers Club B.

Division 2 Dominoes has Flying Lady A two points clear at the top after a brace of 6-2 victories, this week at Bridge C.

Hawk and Rising Sun A share second spot after Hawk’s home draw with Bridge A and Sun A’s 6-2 defeat of promoted Kings Arms B.

Division 3 Dominoes is headed by current Champions White Lion with maximum wins, this week’s 6-2 defeat of Cheshire Cheese giving them a one point advantage over another 100% team, last season’s wooden spoonists Flying Lady B, who beat Swan & Chequers 5-3 and must be feeling quite giddy at occupying such a high position.

Division 4 Dominoes is another section with no 100 percent records remaining and has Bridge D, Coach & Horses, Foresters Arms and Nags Head A in a four way tie at the top.
