CREWE Oddies Club Open League Premier Division Darts pacemakers Pioneers Club A won 5-3 at the Oddies to open a five points gap to West End LMR B.

They scrambled a draw with visitors Cosey Club to deprive both teams of unblemished records after Cosey let slip a 4-2 advantage.

Third placed Eight Farmers A’s 6-2 win at Kings Arms A puts them four points behind the LMR after they rampaged through a depleted opposition.

Farmer’s hotshots were Justin Vickers with a 17 dart leg, Tom Kelly who bombed a 116 finish to his 18 darter, Clive Lucking who blasted an 18 darter, a 106 checkout and a 180 and Jim Hamlett who weighed in with a 180.

King’s responded with a 114 finish by Paul Taylor and a maximum from Andy Pitt.

Cosey’s top performers were Bobby Baynham who fired a 15 dart leg and a brace of 180s, Jordan Bradley who won in 17 and 18 darts and Mark Tirrell who triumphed with couple of 19 darters and a maximum 180.

LMR’s response was headed by Dave Bickerton and Carl Dennel whose 16 and 17 darters both included 180’s, Patrick Lynskey with a 19 dart leg and Daniel Ayres who bagged a brace of 180s.

Top hit of the week came from Dave Coyne (Oddies) with a 14 dart leg, while Simon Phillips (Shoe) and Robbie Arrowsmith (Vine A) hit respective 19 and 20 darters.

Tony Probin (Oddies) won with a 147 kill and further 180’s were hit by ASLEF trio Anthony Broadhurst, Karl Felton and Rocky Snelson and Pete Boughey (Pioneers A).

Division One's top two met, Willaston Clubs 5-3 victory over Cheshire Cheese puts them four points clear, the losers consequently overtaken by Crown, who drew at Amalgamated B. A very close contest sees second to sixth places covered by two points.

Rob Paine (Willaston), Craig Smith (Cheese) and Stu Wilson (Crown) chucked 18 darters, Stu concluding his with a 114 finish, Paul Jones (Amalgamated B) hit a 19 dart leg and Steve Faddes (Amalgamated A) a 102 checkout.

Division Two pacemakers Brunel Arms B are displaying another ‘catch us if you can’ attitude after their whitewash of bottom placed hosts Sydney Arms put them seven points ahead of Rising Sun A, who were beaten 5-3 by visitors Bridge A, who failed to keep up the pressure after going 5-0 ahead.

Third placed Hawk move closer after they and opponents Woodside won alternate games in their stalemate. Mel Roberts (Brunel B) hit a ton finish and team mate John Speed a maximum 180.

Division Three pacemakers Cheshire Cheese take sole charge of the lead following their 6-2 victory over Brunel Arms C and Swan & Chequers draw at Vine B, the latter not only forfeiting their 100% record, but were also penalised for a rule infringement.

Coppenhall pair Barrie Collins and Dave Morris hit 17 dart legs, Dave enhancing his with a 180 and a 100 checkout, while John Knibbs (Cheese) high scored with a 174 hit.

Division Four table toppers Nags Head A extended their lead to four points despite losing their unblemished tag in a draw at Duke of Bridgewater C, as main challengers Dishers Club A lost 5-3 at Bridge D.

The Bridge are now third, ahead of Hop Pole B on matches won after the Pole were held to a draw by Dishers Club B.

Foresters Arms let slip a 3-0 lead in their draw at Eight Farmers B. Pete Broadhust (Duke C) hit a 20 darter and team mate Steve Leslie a ton finish.

Premier Division Dominoes toppers West End LMR B extended their lead to three points over Pioneers Club A, beaten 5-3 at the Oddies.

Vine A move up to joint third with Hop Pole B after beating them 5-3, the pair ahead of eight teams covered by just three points.

Division One has new leaders in Broughton Arms, their 6-2 win at Pioneers Club B putting them a point ahead of Nantwich Road A, 5-3 winners at Brunel Arms A and Crown, 6-2 victors at Amalgamated B. Deposed leaders Amalgamated A drop to fourth after losing 5-3 at White Lion.

Division Two's current champions Woodside won 5-3 at the Hawk to take over top spot from Flying Lady A, whose bye week demoted them to second. Rising Sun A stay third after overcoming a 3-1 deficit to draw with Bridge A.

Division Three also has the new leaders in Coppenhall Club, who won 6-2 at Flying Lady B to relieve them of their 100% record.

Cheshire Cheese walloped Brunel Arms C 7-1 to move up to third spot, ahead of Duke of Bridgewater B, 5-3 winners at Nags Head B, on matches won.

Division Four toppers Nags Head A whitewashed bottom team Duke of Bridgewater C to extend their points lead to four from Dishers Club A, 6-2 victors at Bridge D, who are a point in front of their B team who beat Hop Pole B 5-3.
